A young boy who is ashamed of his Chicano heritage embarks on a journey with figures from North and Central American myths to save his community garden, which culminates in his acquirement of a greater appreciation for his culture. Teatro del Pueblo celebrates 26 years of promoting culture and pride in the Latinx community and developing support for Latinx talent, while educating the community at large about Latinx culture and promoting diversity in the arts.
